2026 PRESENTING SPONSOR: FROST

2026 ARTISTS!

Artists, your patience has been amazing. We owe you!

We’re excited about your participation at this year's ArtsGoggle on Saturday, October 24, from Noon–10:00 PM!

And THANK YOU for your patience as our team worked through artist applications. We have completed all application review except for 40 or so applications that remain in ‘Correction Required’ status. We’ll keep working with those artists, but we’re now turning our full attention back to you.

Now that you’re approved, here are the most important things to know:

1. START PLANNING FOR THE SHOW

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24 | NOON–10:00 PM

  • Please plan for a full festival day. Artist arrival and setup will begin Saturday morning, as early as 7:30 AM for some artists, depending on your Block and Arrival Group. Make sure to line up support from your friends and family. A spouse, partner, friend, family member, neighbor, coworker, or paid assistant is important to have on your team. ArtsGoggle is a 14+ hour endurance test and the most successful artists always make plans to have someone assist them with load in, breakdown, and breaks throughout the festival.
  • You can read about the major event day details here. https://artsgoggle.org/participant-info
  • Make sure to check the artist supply list on that page above.

2. BLOCK SELECTION IS COMING NEXT — NO ACTION NEEDED FROM YOU….YET!

Our next step is Block Selection, tentatively scheduled for: Thursday, September 24 – Saturday, September 26

We are sharing these dates with you today so that you can make a note on your calendar. We will share the specific time and date of your block selection in our next email to you.

During Block Selection, approved artists will select their festival Block + Arrival Group. Block selection occurs on a first-come, first-served basis. Artists will be divided into selection groups of 100 each based on the date their ArtsGoggle application was submitted, with earlier applicants selecting first.

As a reminder, you are not select your ‘exact booth location’ as that is not possible. Artists will be assigned to a block and an arrival group. During arrival, artists set up on the block in the space dedicated to their arrival group, in a first-come, first-served basis. Basically the first artist to the barricade becomes the first tent of that arrival group. We do not offer corner booths to artists. Artists who wish to share a booth with another artist - or - be near another artist will need to very carefully read about how Block Selection works for ‘sharing’ or ‘near’ artists.

Another email is coming with:

  • Your assigned Block Selection group
  • Your exact selection date + time
  • Step-by-step instructions for making your selection
  • Everything else you need to know before selection begins

Please take a moment to review all details of how block selection works at https://artsgoggle.org/participant-info

For now, simply watch your inbox. We’ll give you advance notice before it’s your turn. You do NOT need to do anything yet.

HERE IS ONE THING YOU CAN AND SHOULD DO RIGHT NOW TO HELP YOURSELF.

3. REVISE YOUR CULTURALYST PROFILE SHINE!

While you wait for Block Selection, please review and improve your Culturalyst artist profile.

Your Culturalyst profile will become your artist listing in the official ArtsGoggle Digital Guide, so make sure it represents you and your artwork professionally. It also becomes the took that ArtsGoggle event attendees will use to keep track of artists they want to follow on social media, purchase from in the future, commission work from. Culturalyst is not just a tool for ArtsGoggle. Your Culturalyst profile is published for ALL to see, and many other festival organizers and members of the public are now using this universal artist database to find artists for their own events and commissions. Your Culturalyst artist profile is your calling card.

CHECK THESE THREE THINGS:

  • PHOTOS: Add strong images of your artwork — we recommend at least five.
  • ARTIST STATEMENT: Make sure it clearly introduces you and your work.
  • LINKS: Test your website, social media and other links so visitors can easily find you, follow you and purchase your work.

IMPORTANT:

DO UPDATE YOUR CULTURALYST PROFILE anytime without affecting your ArtsGoggle approval. Your Culturalyst profile is accessible to you always. You can add photos, update your artist statement, share links, and you can even use Culturalyst to search for other arts festivals, public art opportunities, and more. To make updates, go to https://www.culturalyst.com/sign-in

DO NOT OPEN YOUR ARTSGOGLE APPLICATION or edit your approved ArtsGoggle application. Doing so can change your application status back to “In Progress.” It will remove you from the Block Selection process. Trust me, you don’t want to do. If something in your ArtsGoggle application needs to change, please email me directly instead.

HERE IS ONE THING WE ARE BEGGING YOU TO DO HIS WEEK TO HELP US.

4. HELP US THANK FROST FOR SUPPORTING ARTSGOGGLE!

ArtsGoggle partners, let me be super honest with you - it’s a tough economy out there for all of us. And, it is an especially hard economy to find sponsors in. Like…the money…is gone. ArtsGoggle is so fortunate to have title sponsorship from Frost. Their funding helps provide a safe foundation for us to plan for the event and sign some very expensive contracts for generators, insurance, security and more needed for the festival. Without Frost, and their commitment and financial contribution, the event would not be possible.

We are asking for your help to make this investment worthwhile to Frost. Or at the very least, let them know that we are thankful for their support.

WAYS TO HELP US SAY THANK YOU TO FROST:

1. GIVE FROST A SOCIAL SHOUT-OUT
Post about your ArtsGoggle participation and tag @Frost. Suggested copy:

I’m officially an approved artist for ArtsGoggle 2026! 🎨 I’ll be on Magnolia Avenue Saturday, October 24. Thank you to @Frost for supporting ArtsGoggle and Fort Worth’s artist community. See you there!

THAT’S IT FOR NOW!

We’re thrilled to have you with us. Welcome to ArtsGoggle 2026!

BE AWARE OF SCAM ALERT

Artists and partners, we have been made aware of an email-based scam where someone emails you (no idea how this scammer is getting artist emails) and tells you that you need to pay to reserve your booth space.

THIS IS A SCAM AND IS NOT HOW ARTSGOGGLE WORKS

PLEASE NEVER PAY ANYONE VIA EMAIL FOR ARTSGOGGLE PARTICIPATION

The only fee that you will ever pay for ArtsGoggle will be the $150 artist fee when you purchase your application at portal.nearsouthsidefw.org. We will never email you to request payment. If you are not sure if a communication you have received is from the official ArtsGoggle team, please email megan@nearsouthsidefw.org to discuss.

ABOUT ARTSGOGGLE

ArtsGoggle presented by Frost is Fort Worth's premier festival of local arts. This free-to-the-public, family-friendly event annually hosts more than 1,000 visual artists, 50 musical performances, artistic displays of every kind, food, drink, and fun for everyone. Unlike any event in Fort Worth, the festival exclusively focuses on highlighting the work of local artists, musicians, and performers of all media and experience levels. ArtsGoggle attracts a crowd of 80,000+ patrons that are as diverse as the event's Near Southside neighborhood. Visitors are invited to park their cars and rediscover this revitalized urban district by Trinity Metro transit, by foot, or by bicycle, including Trinity Metro Bikes.

ArtsGoggle started 23 years ago as the Near Southside's own indoor gallery night, designed to showcase the district’s revitalization efforts underway via newly established businesses hosting one-day open houses in partnership with local artists. The event remained almost exclusively indoors for the first decade before spilling out onto the street. Today, visitors are invited to stroll artists' booths on Magnolia Avenue stretching more than a mile in length, and adjacent businesses, new and old, tout ArtsGoggle as their best day of sales each year.

ArtsGoggle prides itself in providing a casual, approachable, and vibrant environment for appreciating art and learning about the talents of our own community. For almost two decades, this non-juried art festival has been the launch pad for many artists showing their work for the first time. ArtsGoggle provides a supportive setting for both aspiring and professional artists with new collections to display, sell and discuss their artwork.

Accompanying the visual artists, the entertainment at ArtsGoggle heavily features local musicians and offers performances from a variety of genres. In addition, the event partners with arts organizations across Fort Worth to draw attention to their programs. In years past, ArtsGoggle has hosted the Fort Worth Opera for pop-up concerts; showcased Ballet Folklorico de Azteca for a colorful dance performance; and presented a stellar headliner performances from indie musicians Sarah Jaffe, Ben Kweller, and Sir Woman.
