You can take several routes to reach the Near Southside, but your best bet is the new Línea Rosa. It will drop you off at the intersection with Magnolia Avenue. Route 6 8th Ave/McCart stops at the west end of the festival at 8th & Magnolia, while Route 5 Evans Ave/Sierra Vista stops on the east side at S. Main & Magnolia. Follow the BLUE ARROWS to ride the ArtsGoggle Trolley presented by Moncrief Cancer Institute, UT Southwestern, and the Southwest Medical Foundation. The trolley takes you right to Magnolia Avenue and South Main Village on Saturday, October 24. Service includes four circulating buses in a hop-on, hop-off shuttle operating on a fixed route to get you around the Near Southside from noon to midnight.
Trolley stops will be marked with branded ArtsGoggle signs so it's easy to see where to wait. Service runs non-stop leaving just a 5-7 minute headway between trolly pick-up times.
Start the fun in South Main Village where ample free parking and many Near Southside restaurants, retailers, and watering holes eager to serve you before or after the event.
Take the free trolley to ArtsGoggle to enjoy more than 1,000 artists, 50 performances, 10' giant walking puppets, and 60 local food vendors filling Magnolia Avenue from 8th Avenue to S. Main Street. The ArtsGoggle fun is noon to 10pm.
Then, ride back to South Main Village after ArtsGoggle ends (or after you're done Goggling) to enjoy shops, dining, and entertainment occurring all throughout the Near Southside district on ArtsGoggle day.
