SET-UP TIMES

Because of the high volume of car traffic set up will entail, we will be staggering the ARTIST ARRIVAL TIMES in two groups. Please understand that despite your arrival time or your arrival order SPONSOR AND FOOD TENTS have a guarantee to the endcaps they are promised and as they are shown on the map. That means that if a sponsor tent is a bit behind in setting up they will still have the ability to set up on the ends. Please refer to your maps accordingly.

driving south towards Magnolia Avenue

The maps are oriented the way your car will be oriented.

All the maps have south at the top of the page and north at the bottom of the page.

This may feel odd to look at now but when you are driving you will be looking at the map in the very same direction you are pointed in your car. The example maps that we will share here explain how to arrive and what the street will look like to you AS YOU ARRIVE. The maps are facing the same direction (facing south) that your car will be facing (facing south) as you arrive. This is similar to the way that your Apple Map or Google Map will automatically orient itself as you drive, these maps are intentionally oriented to your driving view.

WE ARE JUST ASKING FOR EVERYONE'S VERY THOUGHTFUL CONSIDERATION OF ALLLLLLLL THE MOVING PIECES ON THIS BLOCK SO THAT WE CAN ENSURE A TIMELY, CALM, AND TOTALLY MANAGEABLE SET-UP.

• Henderson Street is
• the entry point for all artists arriving to Block 7 for set-up.
• Henderson is ALSO the arrival point for all of the food vendors setting up in the food court.
• And Henderson Street is ALSO ALSO the exit street for all of the Block 8 artists who are departing their block after they have dropped off their tents.
• And ALSO ALSO ALSO Henderson Street is being used to host a special new feature of ArtsGoggle called the Culinary Artist Showcase where 16 tented food vendors will arrive late (11:00am arrival) and set-up along the west curb of Henderson Street. These vendors can ONLY arrive after all of the inbound (block 7 and food court) and outbound (block 8) cars are out of the way.
• And finally (also also also also) Henderson Street is where musicians will arrive to play our small ArtsGoggle Side Stage showcasing solo performances throughout the day.
  
  So Henderson Street is BUSY and all partners must have their arrivals and departures timed carefully for success for all. But also in addition to those things...

BECAUSE OF THIS WE WILL HAVE BLOCK 7 GROUP A AND B ARTISTS ARRIVE SLIGHTLY EARLIER THAN THE TRADITIONAL PLAN - HELPING TO GET EVERYONE OFF THE STREET IN ENOUGH TIME FOR BLOCK 8 CULINARY ARTISTS TO ARRIVE AT 11:00AM TO SET UP.

FOOD VENDOR ARRIVALS FOR INSIDE THE DIRT PARKING LOT - We are asking for your very early arrival. Food trucks and trailers in this area will need extra maneuvering space and time and it is much better if we do all this before - LONG BEFORE - artist cars begin to arrive by the hundreds.

CULINARY ARTISTS ON HENDERSON STREET - We are asking for your LATE arrival and patience. We have assigned you an 11:00am arrival, which should put you arriving on Henderson Street after all other artist cars from Blocks 7 and 8 have arrived and departed. If there are a few straggler cars late getting off the street, it's okay, as Henderson is wide enough to allow them to pass while you are setting up. However, we'd like to get the bulk of that traffic out of the way to make life easier for you - and we plan to. When you arrive, you'll pull forward to Henderson stopping about 20 feet short of Magnolia Avenue, and you will also be assigned a space to set-up in on a first come, first served basis in the order that you arrive. There are just 16 of you, so everyone will have a great spot near the street and in the heart of this high traffic music, art, food, rest, and seating area. This is the HEART of ArtsGoggle. The most prime block. After you have unloaded your car with your tent and supplies, you will have a unique parking plan that allows you to basically make a u-turn through the food court to turn your car around on Henderson (never entering Magnolia Avenue). You will also have very close-by parking that allows you regular access to your car (not to drive, just to access) during the festival hours because we will use a small parking lot on Henderson Street in this area for your final parking destination. See maps to better understand.

BUT ALSO HAPPENING IN THIS AREA...

• SOUTH INTERSECTION OF 5TH AVENUE - In the intersection of 5th Avenue is a special artist engagement from The Note Art Bandits. These artists (Cary and Shaun) will arrive via the south, using 5th Avenue, and have a large 20'x20' interactive sticky note mural planned for ArtsGoggle day. They will have an early arrival time and will be set up on 5th Avenue SOUTH of Magnolia Avenue, occupying the entire intersection. If you see this happening, it's okay. They were given special instructions for this unique set-up.

• NORTH INTERSECTION OF 5TH AVENUE - Assigned to Block 7 is a LATE ARRIVAL VENDOR. 817Vintage Hype artists (store owners) have a special set-up plan that puts them in NORTH intersection of 5th Avenue. They will wait for ALL Group 6 artist cars to arrive AND ALSO all Block 7 artist cars to depart (both sets of cars will use 5th Avenue to arrive and depart) before setting up their 10'x20 tent LATE in the north intersection. This is just outside their shop so they will be able to WALK their items out of their storefront and set-up beginning around noon. This will be a late set-up that may still be underway when the festival begins. They will also DEPART EARLY, breaking down around 9:00pm so that they tent and all items are out of the intersection before formal artist breakdown begins and cars must once again use 5th Avenue to arrive back to their block, pack up, and depart.

• SOUTH INTERSECTION OF HENDERSON STREET - This will be the location for the Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center Lactation Station, a 10'x20' air conditioned tent full of beautiful luxurious furniture that will be available to parents of small children to use for nursing, diaper changes, and festival breaks. The tent will be pre-set (arriving on Friday) and will be set approximately 40 feet back from the Henderson and Magnolia intersection. Outside of that tent, and still in the intersection south of Magnolia along Henderson Street, we will also have furniture as an outdoor lounge area where families of anyone inside the tent can enjoy a break while they wait for baby to regroup. Baylor Scott & White staff will ARRIVE VIA THE SOUTH THROUGH FAIRMOUNT NEIGHBORHOOD TO HENDERSON and they will load into their pre-set tent. LOOT RENTALS will be delivering all that furniture and they are planning on a 7:00am arrival time. They will also arrive from the south, leaving their box truck behind (south) of the Lactation Station tent to load furniture in. ALL VEHICLES SOUTH OF HENDERSON that are loading into this area must be off Henderson by 11:00am to ensure that they are not trapped on the street when the City of Fort Worth blockade trucks arrive at 11:30am to protect the street.

• FOOD VENDORS we will be placing a ICE BOX behind Cherry Coffee located just south of Magnolia on Henderson filled with bags of ice. We welcome you to use ice from the ice box but ask that you please track your ice usage. We charge $5.50 (exactly what we are charged) per bag and use the honor system. After ArtsGoggle we ask that you please settle up with us to report your ice use and pay for any bags used.

• MUSICIANS ARE ASKED TO WALK THEIR INSTRUMENTS INTO THE AREA and not bring their cars into the site plan, as it will not be possible at all to bring cars onto the street during the event. Musicians are welcomed to park in the block 8 parking lots that are assigned to artists and other vendors for parking. Performances are 45-minute sets starting every hour on the hour.

ALL OF THESE SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ARE CRITICAL TO UNDERSTAND FOR A SUCCESSFUL EVENT.
