ARRIVAL & SET-UP

SET-UP TIMES

Because of the high volume of car traffic set up will entail, we will be staggering the ARTIST ARRIVAL TIMES in two groups. Please understand that despite your arrival time or your arrival order SPONSOR AND FOOD TENTS have a guarantee to the endcaps they are promised and as they are shown on the map. That means that if a sponsor tent is a bit behind in setting up they will still have the ability to set up on the ends. Please refer to your maps accordingly.

ARRIVAL GROUPS

7:00am BLOCK SPONSORS AND EARLY FOOD VENDORS arrive to set up on street first
Sponsors tents are represented as yellow boxes on the site maps.
Food vendors are represented as green boxes on the site maps.

9:30am GROUP B ARTIST arrive to set-up
Group B artists are represented as sage green boxes on the map

10:30am Late arrival assignments such as east end-cap vendors and sponsors
As shown on the map

MAPS ARE 'UPSIDE DOWN'

You will enter from Rosedale, driving south towards Magnolia Avenue

The maps are oriented the way your car will be oriented.

All the maps have south at the top of the page and north at the bottom of the page.

This may feel odd to look at now but when you are driving you will be looking at the map in the very same direction you are pointed in your car. The example maps that we will share here explain how to arrive and what the street will look like to you AS YOU ARRIVE. The maps are facing the same direction (facing south) that your car will be facing (facing south) as you arrive. This is similar to the way that your Apple Map or Google Map will automatically orient itself as you drive, these maps are intentionally oriented to your driving view.

MAGNOLIA MAKE BELIEVE

This year, we are hosting a very special "kids zone" called the MAGNOLIA MAKE BELIEVE. This area is being curated by early childhood expert Bethany Fort and will involve approximately a dozen partners throughout the day. The MMB is located in 5 pre-set tents on 5th Avenue just south of Magnolia Avenue, saddled on the street of 5th Avenue between Leaves Bakery & Books and the historic Magnolia Centre buildings. Magnolia Make Believe partners will arrive from the south via 5th Avenue and will come and go throughout the day.

In many ways the Magnolia Make Believe is a 'self contained area' and will be managed by Bethany. It will not impact Block 6 artist arrivals in any way. But, it is a very visible and exciting area that will draw families to Block 6 so I am sharing it with you to be aware. Many thanks to Bethany Fort and the amazing partners of the FREE-TO-ENJOY Magnolia Make Believe area.

BEGINNING AT 7:00AM the team from Loot Rentals - the official Furniture Sponsor of ArtsGoggle - will begin loading in a treasure trove of furniture that will become the Magnolia Make Believe lounge area. The Loot Rentals partners should follow this map for their arrival. They will be arriving from the south through the Fairmount Neighborhood and this will prevent them from being in conflict with any artist arrivals for this block.

OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE FOR YOUR BLOCK

THIS IS AN ESPECIALLY EXCITING BLOCK and there are several important things to know. Please study the maps carefully for the following details:

  • 2025 ArtsGoggle Featured Artist Mel Walker will be located on this block on the WEST ENDCAP with a 10'x20' SOUTH-FACING booth that will occupy the first two booth spaces of Group A artists. Her tent will be pre-set. Mel is invited to arrive as early as 7:00am to load in first and avoid other artist traffic during her load-in.

  • Block 6 Sponsor TEI Consulting has generously donated their booth space to local non-profit Art Tooth. Art Tooth will enjoy the pre-set sponsor tent that will occupy a 10'x10' tent on the WEST ENDCAP of Group B artists. Art Tooth is instructed to arrive at 9:00am (30 minutes early for Group B arrivals) to load into their tent before other Group B artists begin arriving - HOWEVER Art Tooth is also welcomed to load in at 7:00am with Mel Walker if they prefer.

  • Food vendors Monkeyshines and 90s BBQ will be set up in The Chat Room Pub parking lot on the south side of the street. They will arrive via the south through the Fairmount neighborhood coming in on 5th Avenue and pulling it into place in the Chat Room parking lot. These vendors MUST ARRIVE PRIOR TO 11:00am to ensure they are in place before the city of Fort Worth blockades are in place blocking access to all streets in and out of the Magnolia area.

  • Mama Lama is another food truck that will arrive via the south, through the Fairmount neighborhood, as will pushcart Yonsei. They will arrive on S. Lake Street and will pull directly into place on S. Lake Street. The idea is NOT to block access to The Chat Room Pub driveway but to pull a bit further forward (north) closer to the intersection without blocking the doorway access to The Chat Room. See map. You must also be in place by 11:00am

  • Uproot Flower Company is a cute artist pushcart selling flowers. They will arrive just like the artists, using 5th Avenue coming in from the north (from Rosedale to Magnolia) but just before arriving to Magnolia they will turn right into a small parking lot and place their booth in grassy area fronting Magnolia Avenue. BarksDoggle will go right beside you. We do not provide power to this area. DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT BEHIND UNLESS YOU PLAN TO PAY FOR PARKING.

  • BarksDoggle is an artist area that is dedicated to dogs and have been our longtime partners. BarksDoggle team, you will follow the same site map as last year, pulling into the small parking lot off of 5th Avenue and setting up in the grass area between the EXISTING cheesecake and hot dog truck (this truck is always there in the grass) and Uprooted. Again, we are not able to provide power here. DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT BEHIND UNLESS YOU PLAN TO PAY FOR PARKING.

  • The Chat Room Pub has a stage on this block (behind their bar, so to prevent noise/music from being too overwhelming to artists on this block). The stage is a big draw and brings many customers to your block.

  • In the intersection of 5th Avenue hosts the Magnolia Make Believe as noted above with maps and details.

  • While not technically assigned to Block 6, 817Vintage Hype artists (store owners) have a special set-up plan that puts them in NORTH intersection of 5th Avenue AFTER ARTIST SET-UP IS OVER. They will wait for ALL Group 6 artist cars to arrive AND ALSO all Block 7 artist cars to depart (both sets of cars will use 5th Avenue to arrive and depart) before setting up their 10'x20 tent LATE in the north intersection. This is just outside their shop so they will be able to WALK their items out of their storefront and set-up beginning around noon. This will be a late set-up that may still be underway when the festival begins. They will also DEPART EARLY, breaking down around 9:00pm so that they tent and all items are out of the intersection before formal artist breakdown begins and cars must once again use 5th Avenue to arrive back to their block, pack up, and depart.

ALL OF THESE SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ARE CRITICAL TO UNDERSTAND FOR A SUCCESSFUL EVENT.
