Note this block has a detour which means you’ll first arrive on Hemphill and then detour through the parking lot behind Paris Coffee Shop to arrive to Travis Avenue to load in.

Please arrive via W. Rosedale Street

Turn SOUTH onto Hemphill, detouring into the parking lot to Travis Avenue from W. Rosedale Street.

When you arrive at Magnolia Avenue pass through the barricade, TURN RIGHT and travel down the WESTBOUND LANE of Magnolia Avenue.

If you are the first tent for Group A or Group B your barricade monitor and block captain will greet you when you arrive and help with the set up instructions

SET-UP TIMES

Because of the high volume of car traffic set up will entail, we will be staggering the ARTIST ARRIVAL TIMES in two groups. Please understand that despite your arrival time or your arrival order SPONSOR AND FOOD TENTS have a guarantee to the endcaps they are promised and as they are shown on the map. That means that if a sponsor tent is a bit behind in setting up they will still have the ability to set up on the ends. Please refer to your maps accordingly.

7:00am BLOCK SPONSORS AND EARLY FOOD VENDORS arrive to set up on street first
Sponsors tents are represented as yellow boxes on the site maps.
Food vendors are represented as green boxes on the site maps.


8:00am GROUP A ARTISTS arrive to set-up.
Group A artists are represented as blue boxes on the site maps.


9:30am GROUP B ARTIST arrive to set-up
Group B artists are represented as sage green boxes on the map


10:30am Late arrival assignments such as east end-cap vendors and sponsors

MAPS ARE 'UPSIDE DOWN'

You will enter from Rosedale, driving south towards Magnolia Avenue

The maps are oriented the way your car will be oriented.

All the maps have south at the top of the page and north at the bottom of the page.

This may feel odd to look at now but when you are driving you will be looking at the map in the very same direction you are pointed in your car. The example maps that we will share here explain how to arrive and what the street will look like to you AS YOU ARRIVE. The maps are facing the same direction (facing south) that your car will be facing (facing south) as you arrive. This is similar to the way that your Apple Map or Google Map will automatically orient itself as you drive, these maps are intentionally oriented to your driving view.

OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE FOR YOUR BLOCK

• ARTS FORT WORTH is the sponsor for Block 13 and has elected to pre-set a rented 10'x10' tent as the WEST ENDCAP for GROUP A south-facing artists. Their tent will be waiting for them on ArtsGoggle day but they are requested to arrive at 7:00am to load into their tent ahead of all other artist arrivals for their own ease.

• GROUP A ARTIST GOOD BONES has a large trailer that requires early load in. This artist has been granted an early 7:00am arrival time and will load in to the 10'x20' space directly behind Arts Fort Worth on the Group A south-facing tent spaces. The hope is that they can unload their trailer and go park it before any other artists arrive for Group A load-in.

• COWGIRL CHLOE is a good vendor that has been given a guaranteed EAST ENDCAP as the final booth arriving for Group B north-facing load in. They are instructed to arrive following the path of the Block 13 artists and to arrive a 10:30am so that they can claim the last tent space.

• OL' FASHIONED LEMON SHAKERS is a food vendor assigned to arrive via a separate route coming from the south via the Fairmount Neighborhood on Lipscomb Street. They are assigned to set up south of Magnolia Avenue on Lipscomb Street and should arrive no later than 10:30am to get into place before crowd protection barricades are placed south of them. See maps. This will not have any impact on artist arrival, as they are south of the action.
  
  
  
  
• WHILE NOT TECHNICALLY ASSIGNED TO BLOCK 13 THIS WILL BE IN YOUR ORBIT - Block 14 Food Vendor Ko Thai, who has a restaurant located on this block, will be setting up a food vendor tent in the alley space of Travis Avenue south of Magnolia. They should not need a car for their set-up as they will be carrying items out of their restaurant for their activation. If you see this happening, it is approved! This will not have any impact on artist arrival, as they are south of the action.
