Oatmeal Pizza is a Dallas based Nirvana cover band. It all began in early Spring 2022 with a goal of covering the compilation album "Incesticide" in its entirety. We debuted the project at Three Links in Deep Ellum on May 12, 2022. Due to the enthusiastic swell of support, we expanded the band to cover all of Nirvana's discography and added a few other songs from the same era.

Rock band. Sometimes loud, sometimes not. Sometimes both in the same song. Layered washes of guitars, keys and harmonies. Band is best suited for medium to large stages that can capture the full complement of sounds.

Spring Palace’s music has been described as a throwback to the catchy, slacker guitar sounds of the early 2000s with bands like Built to Spill and Pavement acting as foundational inspiration. Their mid tempo vibe is derived from the blending of jangly Fender Telecaster riffs right on the edge of breaking up, and a steady supply of double vocals.
