Bencjones is a loud rock band that blends pop, country, blues & R&B.

We are a string band set up that promotes positivity, progressive thinking, and an overall good time. We take the best of traditional styles and mix them with modern themes and musical stylings to create a sometimes raucous, but always engaging experience.

We have a range of arrangements consisting of full rock band with horns, electric/acoustic guitars and drums down to a stripped down set depending on the venue. We can accommodate anything! (This is a note from Megan - these guys played at Atlas in May and were absolutely INCREDIBLE and they packed the house)

We would best be described as a melting pot of culture and genre. While our music is primarily indi rock, we're pulling from a diverse pallet of influences that include jazz, R&B, hip-hop, math rock, and anything else that makes people want to move. We emphasize a blending of virtuosic musicality and incredibly catchy song writing. Our objective is to melt your face and make sure you're enjoying every second of it.

It's powerhouse blues rock. Definitly loud. Big booming vocals. Guitar solos. Hard-hitting drums. But there are softer ballad songs as well. We'd fit in with any rock, blues rock—anything loud and FUN.

I perform with a jazz and neo soul-influenced trio or quartet with a mix of mellow vibe and upbeat tunes that can engage a full crowd- and has at Friday on the Green!
