Families are invited to dive into a world of free adventures—making, building, and dreaming up creations that inspire joy, curiosity, and endless play.

MEET THE BIG BRAIN BEHIND MAGNOLIA MAKE BELIEVE: Bethany Fort

Bethany Fort loves dreaming up new ways for children to play, imagine, and create. She founded Cocoon Boom to spark wonder through innovative events and playful learning, and she partners with DFW organizations to share that magic with families everywhere. She’s delighted to join her favorite Fort Worth friends in making Magnolia Make Believe an enchanting adventure for kids of all ages!

Description of activity:
We will have an interactive art project where children can contribute to a collective piece throughout the event. In addition, we’ll provide a variety of other art activities and hands-on projects to keep kids engaged and creative during the celebration.

Make a Box City! Architect led hands-on activity where kids design their own building with provided supplies and create their own community by placing the building into a scaled site plan.

Yogi Squad is a Fort Worth–based nonprofit bringing mindfulness, movement, and literacy together to support children’s mental and emotional well-being. Since 2018, we have served over 50,000 students, families, and educators through school programs, community events, and digital resources.

Description of activity:
Offering a mindful break at Arts Goggle, Yogi Squad will get families moving with yoga songs to dance and stretch to, plus hands-on fun with flower and spider ring crafts for kids. Families can also take home free resources to keep practicing mindfulness and movement together.
